Subaru Impreza R205 #291 – Sold and off to its new owner!

We selected this stunning car back in February last year in the Japanese auctions, having it inspected and the history confirmed before purchasing.

Being a limited edition model, the desirability with these cars is in their standard form. Which also helps retain future market value, with the market value of these cars ever increasing making for a great investment purchase.

Having covered only 100k KM’s, and being a Grade 4B car – this was a great example.

The R205’s are Subaru Japan’s flag ship Hatchback model. Only available in Japan and costing circa £35k when new.

The R205 was graced with many STi performance catalogue parts along with some unique items.

Featuring the STi 6 pot front Brembo caliper setup fitted to the previous generation flagship Impreza model – The RA-R.

These are matched with STi 4 pot rear calipers, first appearing on the R205 and then fitted to the later S206.

As a combination offer exceptional braking performance, helping to stop the car in a heartbeat when needed!

There are many STi handling/chassis parts fitted to the R205 – STi struts and Springs combined with STi rose jointed links.

Fitted upfront are STi dynamic damping chassis braces, allowing for just the right amount of flex whilst improving rigidity and in turn handling performance.

The R205 featured it’s own front grill, sill plates and wing garnishes – combined with the STi catalogue side sill spoilers the previous owner in Japan fitted, creates for a stunning factory appearance.

Finished in the pearlescent white paint, matching with the stunning STi 18” x 8.5” wide rims and black STi accessories – really is a great colour combination.

These car’s really need to be driven to get a feel for how much of a capable standard performing car they are, Subaru Japan and STi really did exceed themselves in creating this prime example.
